MEET NEWS
The Running Pirates hosted their 3rd meet for the 2008 season. The meet was held at Shark Tooth Creek on Saturday, October 4th. Competing in the meet were teams from Central Park Christian, Tuscaloosa Academy, Starkville Academy, Heritage Academy, and Pickens Academy. There were 81 runners competing in Saturday's meet. Reagan Gibson placed 5th in the 3rd-4th grade girls division with a time of 25:22. Lee Acker placed 3rd, Davis Vails placed 4th and Mark Everette Gilliam placed 5th in the 3rd-4th grade boys division with times of 17:14, 18:17, and 18:25. Maria Manning placed 5th and Savannah Rye placed 6th in the JV Girls division with times of 29:51 and 30:13. Grant McCrary placed 3rd and Daniel Cameron placed 9th in the JV Boys division with times of 23:42, and 23:51. The Running Pirates placed 1st in the 3rd-4th grade boys division, 2nd place in the JV Boys, and 2nd place in the JV Girls divisions. Congratulations to The Running Pirates for another great meet!
